BIPARTISAN ACCOMPLISHMENTS

  • Worked with Governor Maggie Hassan and State Senate leadership to effectuate the turnaround of one of New Hampshire’s largest nonprofit organizations. 

  • Appointed  by Governor Chris Sununu to the New Hampshire Prescription Drug Affordability Board, 2021

  • Commission to Study Enhancing the Program of Donating, Accepting, and Redispensing Unused Drugs (Legislative Commission) 2018 – 2019

  • Appointed by Attorney General MacDonald to the Victims of Crime Act Steering Committee, 2017 – Present

  • Appointed by Governor Maggie Hassan to the Governor’s Commission on Healthcare and Community Support Workforce, 2016

  • While state director of AARP New Hampshire, successfully advocated for the passage of multiple bipartisan bills working with stakeholders across all sectors of New Hampshire’s economy including:

    • The prescription drug affordability board (RSA 126-BB) designed to examine strategies to lower prescription drug prices for public payers 

    • The Uniform Power of Attorney Act (RSA 564-E) 

    • Uniform Adult Guardianship and Protective Proceedings Jurisdiction Act (UAGPPJA, RSA 464-C) 

  • Worked with leaders from both parties as part of a cross-sector coalition from health care, business, and social services to pass Medicaid Expansion in New Hampshire helping 100,000 Granite Staters get access to healthcare and bringing $502 million in federal funding. 

  • Engaged in budget negotiations with state agencies, stakeholders, and Governors Hassan and Sununu to ensure funding for our seniors and most vulnerable New Hampshire citizens.
